Damian Loscher – Managing Director
Began his research career in 1994 after receiving a BA in Business Studies from Liverpool University. Since 1994, Damian has gained considerable research experience, working across a wide variety of industry sectors including consumer goods, financial services, media, telecommunications and the public sector.
Within Ipsos MRBI, Damian specialises in the application of advanced qualitative and quantitative techniques, thriving on challenging research projects and complex marketing issues.
Damian is a former Chairman of The Marketing Society and is a past market research award winner with The Marketing Institute of Ireland.
Tarik Laher – Director
Has over fifteen years research experience since beginning his career at TNS. He joined the company in 2003, having prior to that managed Drury Research, part of Drury Communications.
Tarik has built up an expertise across a range of research methodologies and has a wealth of quantitative and qualitative research experience. His clients have included various Government Departments and other Public Sector organisations, as well as numerous private sector companies across a range of sectors, with a particular focus on healthcare research.
Tarik holds an Honours degree in Psychology from UCD and a Graduateship in Marketing from the Marketing Institute of Ireland (MII). He also recently completed an Executive Masters in Marketing. Tarik was named as the inaugural recipient of the MII’s Pat Cahill Award for meritorious services to marketing in Ireland.
Niall McCaffrey – Qualitative Director
Has a broad range of experience in Ireland, Europe and the United States in the areas of brand development and qualitative research, having worked with Brand Consultancy Alexander Dunlop and as Deputy Managing Director of Research Solutions.
Niall works across all sectors with an emphasis on mobile telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, financial, public and FMCG sectors.
He holds a Masters in Applied Psychology from the University of Ulster in addition to an honours degree in psychology from University College Dublin. He is also a trained Process Consultant. Niall is a past Chairman of the Marketing Society in Ireland.
Linda Walsh – Director
Has eighteen years research experience, covering a broad range of quantitative and qualitative research techniques. She has a BA in Psychology and a Diploma in Business Studies, both from University College Dublin, and is a member of the Market Research Society. Linda has gained her research expertise in agency and client-side positions, both in the UK and Ireland.
Linda joined Ipsos MRBI from Unilever Best Foods (UK) Ltd where she was Market Research Manager.
Senior Account Directors
Karen Hall - Account Director
Has considerable experience in quantitative research, across many markets in both the consumer and business-to-business fields, including customer satisfaction studies; media research; usage and attitude studies; product testing; and financial services research.
Karen currently directs the Joint National Listenership Survey, the industry survey which measures radio audience levels in Ireland. Within Ipsos MRBI, Karen has responsibility for the sampling function. She is a Marketing Graduate of the Marketing Institute of Ireland.
Louise Soye – Account Director

Is a Commerce graduate of UCD and has a Masters of Business Studies Degree from the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business, UCD. Prior to joining the agency-side of the industry, Louise worked on the client-side with Dublin Airport Authority.
Louise works across a broad range of sectors, from telecommunications to transport. She has vast experience of all quantitative methodologies, including CAWI, CATI, Face-To-Face, Postal and Mystery Shopping. She specialises in the Stakeholder Management area.
Louise currently manages the Quality of Postal Service Monitor on behalf of ComReg.
Belinda Norton – Associate Director

Has over ten years quantitative research experience in consumer and business-to-business markets, gained from managing and implementing a wide range of research studies in Ireland and in the UK, working across numerous quantitative methodologies including CAWI, CATI, CAPI, Face-To-Face and Postal. Her research areas of expertise include; usage and attitude; segmentation and motivational research; customer satisfaction; product testing; and category management.
Belinda has an honours degree in International Management and Modern Languages and holds a CIM Diploma in Marketing.
Susan Cassidy – Associate Director

Susan has worked in market research for over ten years and in that time, has gained experience in both ad-hoc and tracking research. She has particular experience in consumer research most especially in relation to media consumption, consumer behaviour, and customer satisfaction.
Susan has particular responsability within Ipsos MRBI for multi-country research. Susan also currently manages and co-ordinates all of Ipsos MRBI’s omnibus services.
Anna Ward – Associate Director
Joined Ipsos MRBI in 2002 and prior to her current role
worked as the Ipsos MRBI’s CATI Unit Manager. During that time, Anna
accumulated extensive and valuable experience in the management of both business-to-business and consumer projects and further developed her skills and
expertise in key areas, such as quality control, quota and sample management,
staff training and recruitment, payroll and administration.
In 2008 Anna moved into a new role as Associate Director and is now working on both continuous and ad-hoc quantitative studies with a variety of clients in the financial services, healthcare and telecoms sectors.
Aisling Corcoran – Associate Director

Joined Ipsos MRBI in September 2004 from Accenture where she was a Customer Relationship Management Analyst. Aisling is a graduate of DIT where she studied Management and Marketing. Within Ipsos MRBI Aisling specialises in large-scale quantitative projects on behalf of various public sector clients.
Aisling is specifically responsible within Ipsos MRBI for political opinion polling.
Kieran O’Leary – Research Director

Kieran joined Ipsos MRBI in 2005 from NOP in London. He has over nine years research experience and has worked in both client and agency roles.
His role in Ipsos MRBI involves managing a variety of different research projects, both qualitative and quantitative, for clients across a variety of different sectors, with a particular focus on financial services and telecoms research.
Kieran has a BA in Communication Studies from Dublin City University and an MSc in Applied Social Research from Trinity College Dublin. He also has a Diploma from the Market Research Society, of which he is a full member.
